What is Mobile Check Deposit?

Union Bank Mobile Check Deposit lets you deposit checks anywhere and anytime you like. It’s the fastest, easiest way to get checks into your account.

How does it work?

Once you’ve downloaded the Union Bank Mobile Remote Deposit app, simply launch it on your phone and select “Deposit.” Sign the back of your check, take a picture of the front and back sides of the check, choose the account you want to receive the deposit and enter the amount. After confirming the details, tap “Submit.” That’s all there is to it.

Why is it a better way to deposit checks?

For starters, Mobile Check Deposit saves you the trouble of driving around town to deposit a check. You have better things to do with your time. Plus, mobile deposits go into your account quickly and securely, which lets you cross one more thing off your ever-growing to-do list.

Is it secure?

Yes, depositing checks with Mobile Check Deposit is safe and secure. Every deposit you make is password protected and highly encrypted.

How do I get started?

To get started with Mobile Check Deposit, download the Union Bank Mobile Remote Deposit app.

To utilize Mobile Banking, you must be actively enrolled in the Bank’s online banking product and utilize a supported mobile device. If you are not currently enrolled for online banking, contact your local branch today to enroll. Union Bank does not charge a fee for Mobile Banking. Your wireless carrier may charge you for data usage and text message services. Check with your wireless carrier for details regarding your specific wireless plan and any data usage or text messaging charges that may apply.

ENROLLMENT

Online banking customers have two options for enrolling in mobile banking:

Option 1: Enroll through your online banking account

Step 1: Sign into your online banking account.
Step 2: Select the Options Tab > Mobile Settings > Web Mobile Banking.
Step 3: Complete the setup information on the screen:

— Check the “Enable web access for your mobile device” box.
— Select to receive/not receive text message alerts. *Note: If No is selected for Receive Text Message Alerts, a text message for confirmation of enrollment, transfers, bill payments, ACH initiation, or wire transfers will not be sent.
— Enter your mobile phone number.
— Select your wireless provider using the drop-down box.
— Check the box next to your accounts that you want to access through your mobile device.
— Click the “Submit” button.

Step 4: Review enrollment information. Check I accept these full terms and conditions. Click Confirm.
Step 5: A confirmation screen displays confirming enrollment. If text alerts have been chosen in the previous step, you will receive a confirmation text message that includes the URL to access Mobile Banking.

Option 2: Enroll through your mobile device3

The following users can complete the self-enrollment3 option through a mobile device. If you do not meet these qualifications, you must enroll for Mobile Banking using option 1.

  • Users who have previously logged in to the traditional Online Banking website successfully
  • Users with an Online Banking ID in an ACTIVE status
  • Users who are not in the middle of a password reset

Step 1: Navigate to the Union Bank Mobile Banking site: www.airteller.com/ncunionbank. Enter your online banking ID (or pseudo name) and PIN.
Step 2: Accept the terms and conditions by clicking the checkbox next to “I Agree.” Click the “Next” button to continue.
Step 3: Complete the enrollment information screen:

— Select to receive/not receive text message alerts. *Note: If No is selected for Receive Text Message Alerts, a text message for confirmation of enrollment, transfers, bill payments, ACH initiation, or wire transfers will not be sent.
— Enter your mobile phone number.
— Select your wireless provider using the drop-down box.
— Click the “Enroll Now” button to complete the self-enrollment.
