  • No duplicate transactions: A special transaction-matching algorithm prevents duplicate transactions.
  • Easier to use: Files may be automatically opened directly from Union Bank’s online banking site – no more searching for saved files.
  • Automatic account setup: The first time you initiate a download from Union Bank’s online banking site, Quicken and QuickBooks will set up your accounts for you—with your data already up to date.

Integration

There are two ways QuickBooks® interacts with Union Bank online banking:

  • Direct Connect: Direct Connect refers to two-way connectivity between Union Bank’s online banking and QuickBooks. This solution allows you to access your account information, pay bills, and transfer money from within QuickBooks. How it works:  QuickBooks will log in to your online banking to securely and automatically download transactions into QuickBooks in a single download.
  • Web Connect: Web Connect provides one-way connectivity between Union Bank’s online banking and QuickBooks. Downloaded transactions are automatically matched with existing transactions behind the scenes, and new ones are entered into the register. How it works:  You will download transactions manually from Union Bank’s online banking site and then import them in to QuickBooks.

There are three ways Quicken® interacts with Union Bank online banking:

  • Direct Connect: Direct Connect refers to two-way connectivity between Union Bank’s online banking and Quicken. This solution allows you to access your account information, pay bills, and transfer money from within Quicken. How it works:  Quicken will log in to your online banking to securely and automatically download transactions into QuickBooks in a single download.
  • Express Web Connect: Express Web Connect automates the login process and retrieves Web Connect transactions. You can use also One Step Update to update multiple accounts. How it works:  Login to Quicken and allow the transactions to download and update account balances automatically.
  • Web Connect: Web Connect provides one-way connectivity between Union Bank’s online banking and Quicken. Downloaded transactions are automatically matched with existing transactions behind the scenes, and new ones are entered into the register. How it works:  You will download transactions manually from Union Bank’s online banking site and then import them into Quicken.
