Union Bank Advisors – Union Bank is currently looking for three full time Advisors - one for the Cary Branch, one for the Oxford branch, and one for the Henderson branch.  These full time non-exempt positions will report directly to a Branch Manager.  Positions are Monday through Friday.  Benefit package includes:  401K, holiday leave, sick leave, vacation leave, school volunteer leave, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, short term and long term disability insurance coverage.

Duties include:

  • Represents the bank in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Greets customers and provides highly professional customer service to new and existing customers of the Bank.
  • Maintains knowledge of all bank services available for customers.
  • Opens new accounts, closes and maintains accounts including checking, savings, IRA, certificates of deposit, etc.  Ensures that all documentation is complete.
  • Maintains a cash drawer not to exceed specific limits.
  • Balances the cash drawer according to policies and procedures, locates errors when possible and makes adjustments.  Assists other Union Bank Advisors with balancing cash drawer.  Aids in locating errors in out-of-balance situations.
  • Receives check, savings, loan, and other deposits and payments.  When taking such transactions assures information obtained and processed is accurate and according to bank guidelines.
  • Processes night deposit bags according to procedures.
  • Services accounts as instructed by the customer through transferring funds by wire and/or processing telephone transfers.
  • Responds to customer requests in a timely manner.
  • Answers the telephone and provides information upon request.
  • Places holds and stop payments as requested by customer following bank guidelines
  • Sells and issues traveler’s checks, savings bonds and certified checks.
  • Orders checks, deposit slips and other pertinent items for customers.
  • Assists with tasks related to special projects.
  • Has a high attention to detail.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift, stoop, bend as necessary, and the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Adheres specifically to all Bank policies and procedures, Federal and State regulations and laws.

On-Call Advisors - Part time positions for our Branch locations in Oxford, Youngsville, Henderson, Louisburg, Roxboro, Cary, Raleigh and Creedmoor.  Great opportunity for someone who has previous cash handling experience, good people skills and who prefers to work part time.  Variable hours Monday through Friday depending on branch location and need.
 

Duties include:

Loan Processor – Full time, non-exempt position which works directly under the supervision of the Loan Operations Manager in the Oxford location.  Position is Monday through Friday.   Benefit package includes:   401K, holiday leave, sick leave, vacation leave, school volunteer leave, health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, short term disability insurance, and long term disability insurance coverage:
 

Duties include:

 

  • Prepare all types of commercial and consumer loan packages.
  • Possess knowledge of loan documentation and regulations.
  • Work closely with lenders, attorneys and other outside professionals.
  • Fund loan proceeds.
  • Organize and deliver packages to Loan Operations for booking in a timely manner.
  • Provide required disclosures and other regulatory notices within the required time frames.
  • Review and verifying the Ability to Repay Qualified Mortgage Debt to Income worksheet, as applicable.
  • Performing required regulatory testing and retains documentation of results in each loan file.
  • Respond to customer request in a timely manner.
  • Assist with tasks related to special projects.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Have high attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi task and in order to meet the demands of loan volume.
  • Ability to work in a high stress environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Represent the bank in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift, stoop, bend as necessary in retrieving and handling loan files, and the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
